Syal Medical Center, built in 1972, is the oldest hospital in Multan city well equipped with latest technology and the first centrally air conditioned hospitals. It is serving with success by the Grace of Almighty Allah, under the supervision of experienced team of doctors. Its building was enaguarated by respected Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, on the 31st January 1986. |

Syal Medical Center is located near Katchery, a very famous place in Multan, near Shareef Plaza at a distance of just 1Km from Nishtar Hospital which is very much supportive in case of emergencies facilitated by a fly over and parking underneath.
The building consists of five floors. The basement has a Masjid open all the time to offer prayers together with five time Jamaat, Jumma and Eid. It also facilitates Sehri, Aftari, Taraveeh and Aitkaaf during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Emergency Handling:
24Hrs Emergency Service is provided
Emergency handling is done on the ground floor. It also has eight bed I.C.U. and a four bed C.C.U. unit, so that treatment may start without wasting any time. The ICU has Cadiac Monitoring, Pacing and Ventilator facilities. Ground floor is also equipped with 100MA X-Ray plant, Digital Dicom and CR system with 3D digital dicom spiral CT Scan laser cameras. A three bed unit for Heamodialysis for kidneys is also on the same floor. Latest equipment required for heart disease diagnosis includes Echo Cardiography, etc. Stress ECG and Holter are also available. |
Special Facilities
Special facilities are provided here
Special Facilities include Cardiac, Gi Bleeding and Trauma (including Brain and Spinal Cord) Emergencies; with all diagnostic and treatment facilities under one roof under the supervision of senior and well educated Doctors. Facilities like clinical diagnostic investigations as pathology laboratory are available round the clock. The emergency treatment facilities like, Ventilators, Temporary cardiac pacing, Electroversion, Infant Incubators are available on the ground floor in ICU. Our Door to Needle time is hardly one minute that is well below the international standards and the critically patient can be saved in a matter of few minutes. |
First Floor
Reserved for over twenty specialist doctors
This floor is reserved for over twenty specialist doctors serving not only regular patients but also available for any kind of emergency cases round the clock, which includes liver, heart, gynecology doctors. The floor also has infertility clinic, three operation theaters, two labour rooms and eight executive rooms. |
Second Floor
Has a sixteen bed general ward
This floor has a sixteen bed general ward. Sixteen semi private rooms with five VIP rooms. All rooms are facilitated with telephone, fridge and intercom.

Third Floor
Administration and Accounts Units
This floor has administration and accounts units. Nurses and doctors hostel are also on the same floor. Conference room with two large store rooms are also on the same floor.
Extra facilities include a canteen for general public and a lift for patients to move freely. |
